Services

Integral Insights offers a wide array of research-related consultative services in support of the entire research life-cycle. Whether you need a quick research consultation or are seeking a long-term collaborative partner, we have the necessary expertise and experience to support your objectives. Plus, due to our low overhead costs, we only charge a de minimus indirect cost rate of 10% on grants and contracts, allowing you to stretch your research funds further.

Statistical Analysis & Modeling

Integral Insights provides analytical support by employing a wide range of modern statistical methods to address research questions and test scientific hypotheses. We use cutting edge statistical software such as R, allowing the production of reproducible results and auto-generated reports. We prepare written reports of all analytical work to meet the specifications of our clients’ needs, including professional quality figures/charts and tables. We also conduct psychometric modeling of data derived from the development or testing of measures, assessment instruments, and questionnaires in order to establish their reliability and validity.

Program Evaluation & Policy Analysis

Many programs, services, and policies are required to or benefit from an evaluation of their performance or impact. Evaluation results can be used by decision-makers and stakeholders to modify, provide more or less support, or discontinue a particular program or policy. Integral Insights works with decision-makers and stake holders to design evaluation plans that include logic models, research or impact questions, and tangible criteria that can be evaluated to determine impact, growth, or benefit. We produce high-quality, reproducible reports using software such as Markdown and Quarto.

Data Dashboard Creation

Decision-makers, stakeholders, and planners can greatly benefit from well-designed and informative data dashboards that provide them with up-to-date information about the key metrics and benchmarks that drive their organizations. Integral Insights uses software such as Looker Studio, Excel, and R Shiny Apps to create user-friendly and affordable dashboards. Such dashboards are easy to maintain by the end user, who can collect and upload their own data. We do not offer full data integration services via cloud-based enterprise resource planning solutions (eg, Oracle) or customized web development to automate data entry, data connection, and real-time data integration into dashboards, but we can point you to software companies that offer such services.

Proposal Review & Development

We work with researchers to help develop the research methodology for their studies, including the quantitative approach to statistical analyses. This assistance can come in the form of consultation meetings, reviewing proposals, or writing the methodological design and quantitative methodology sections of proposals. Integral Insights provides other methodological services in the pre-award phase, including conducting sample size analyses, developing and validating assessment instruments, and evaluating pilot data.

Data Curation & Programming

Most data are not in an analyzable format after they are collected, even after using specialized data collection software. Data are often located across multiple data sets that need to be linked together. Many variables need to be recoded or combined before they can be analyzed. Code books or data dictionaries need to be generated. Data cleaning, or the process of curating, organizing, and preparing data for analysis is often far more time-consuming than actually analyzing the data. Integral Insights provides assistance in all aspects of data preparation.

Geographic Information Systems

Much can be learned through an understanding of the geographic distribution of many phenomena. Integral Insights uses modern mapping analysis software, including R and QGIS, to provide mapped-based information for researchers and policy makers. Mapping data can also be modeled in terms of comparisons over space and time, providing further insights into geographic trends, frequencies, and prevalence.
